1. Universal Phone Service

  • Universal Contact includes Universal Phone Service (which has an Internet Phone Number, a Local Phone Number (for voice calls), a Web Dialer and the Phone Card Service).

2. Multimedia Email Box

  • An Internet email box for storing voice, fax, sms, email messages supporting accesses from web, wap, phone, pop, imap.

3. Local Phone Number

  • A Local Phone Number in a city of your choice where people in that city can call it with the cost of a local call.
  • This second Local Phone Number in this Universal Contact Service package (in additional to the one available as part of the Universal Phone Service package) is for receiving of fax calls.

4. Fax to Email

  • Maps to your a Local Phone Number in a city of your choice.
    All faxes that are sent to that nominated fax number will be forwarded
  • to your email address as an email with a file attachment.
    Sample Fax to Email operation is a fax sent to +612 90111001 will result it becoming an image PDF file and sent to 90111000@oztralia.com

5. Web PABX

  • Maps to your a Local Phone Number in a city of your choice.
    All calls to that nominated voice number will handled by the Web
  • PABX in an intelligent manner.

7. Outbound Web Messenger

8. Inbound Web Messenger

  • An universal web site that can be accessed by Web, WAP and iMode browsers on computers, mobile phones and PDAs.
  • This universal web site allows browsers around the world can send text messages to your as voice, fax, sms, jabber or email. You can also publish simple information (images, text) on it.

Universal Contact Service makes sure that the SAME number is provided to you consistently across the whole OZtell platform for all operations in order to avoid complexity and confusion. Thus your identification number for all the above modules are the same (90111000).

2. Incoming Communications

Universal Contact Service preconfigurates the Value-Added Modules as follows for your INCOMING communications:

1. Incoming Fax (Local Phone Number)

  • One of your two Local Phone Numbers is mapped to your Fax to Email Module
  • People with fax machines can send faxes to that Local Phone Number and you will receive a copy of the fax in email.
  • If you have defined an email address in your application form when you join, that email address will be used for the fax. Otherwise, the fax will be sent to your @oztralia.com email address.

2. Incoming Voice (Local Phone Number)

  • One of your two Local Phone Numbers is mapped to your Web PABX Module
  • When someone rings that Local Phone Number, BOTH your Internet Phone and your Mobile phone will ring at once.
  • Whichever one of those two phones got picked up first by you will answer the call and the other phone will stop ringing.
  • If neither your Internet Phone nor your Mobile Phone answers within 10 seconds then the caller will be passed to voice mail to record a voice message for you.
  • The recorded voice message will be sent to your email box.
    If you have defined an email address in your application form when you join, that email address will be used for the voice message. Otherwise, the voice message will be sent to your @oztralia.com email address.
  • If you did not supply your mobile phone number during the application process then your work number will be used instead and if you did not supply your work phone number either then your home number will be used.

3. Incoming VoIP (Internet Phone Number)

  • Initially your Internet Phone Number is set up to use a VoIP protocol called SIP but you can change it to IAX later on, if required.
  • People with Internet Phones (SIP, IAX) can ring that Internet Phone Number and your Internet Phone will ring.
  • People with Internet Phones will not be charged for the call whether it is answered or not.

4. Incoming Email (Multimedia Email Box)

  • A personal Email Box for storing all your voice, fax and normal emails.
  • The system can automatically file the multimedia messages into different folders for you or forward the messages to other email addresses.

5. Incoming Web (Inbound Web Messenger)

  • A personal combined web, WAP, iMode site that allows people to contact you through Phone, Fax, SMS, email etc.

3. Outgoing Communications

Universal Contact Service preconfigurates the Net2MAX Modules as follows for your OUTGOING communications:

1. Outgoing VoIP (Internet Phone Number)

  • You can ring people with Internet Phones (SIP, IAX) from your Internet Phone.
  • You call will not be charged.

2. Outgoing Email (Multimedia Email)

  • You can send email using the Multimedia Email Box.

3. Outgoing Jabber (Outbound Web Messenger)

  • You can send Jabber Instant Messages from the web page.

4. Outgoing Voice (Outbound Web Messenger, Internet Phone Number)

  • You type text messages on the web and have them play to different phone numbers. You can put passwords, acknowledgements and tracking onto those voice message alerts.
  • You can use your Internet Phone to ring normal phone (landline or mobile).
  • You will be charges according to the Internet Phone rates on the Telephone Rate Web Page

5. Outgoing SMS (Outbound Web Messenger)

  • You can send SMS to people from the web.
  • You will be charges according to the SMS rates on the Telephone Rate Web Page

6. Outgoing Fax (Outbound Web Messenger)

  • You can send SMS to people from the web.
  • You will be charges according to the Internet Phone rates on the Telephone Rate Web Page

7. Outgoing Post (Outbound Web Messenger)

  • You can send Certified Post to people from the web.
  • You will be charges according to the Certified Post rates on the Telephone Rate Web Page
