2.1 Global Roaming Access
In case you arrived
in a place without OZtell ADSL, whether within Australia or anywhere in the world.
You can use OZtell Internet's Global Roaming Access account. This allows you to
access the Internet using an analog modem through a local dialup ISP in your area, using
the same login ID and passwordi worldwide.
In
the rare case that your OZtell ADSL is down, you can also use the Global Roaming Access
account to access the Internet with an analog modem.
Note that joining
Global Roaming Access is free for all OZtell Internet Access customers (ADSL or
dial-up) but you have to pay per second rates for the
actual dial-up connections. The rate varies from country to country, please contact
OZtell Support for details.

OZtell allows you to check how much data
you have downloaded via the web - no more guess work required ... well, not that
you should really care, since our prices are so low. But it is always nice to
know what's going on.
2.4 Internet Phone Calls
OZtell
provides you with free Internet phone software (H323 and SIP) so you can start
using the Internet for your voice needs as well as data needs.
All calls
made over the Internet end-to-end are free. OZtell provides free Internet phone
directory look up (SIP and H323) for its ADSL customers, so people can call each
other easily without using complex IP addresses.
In cases where one party
of the phone conversation is not connected to the Internet (like people on normal
phones), OZtell provides gateways to bridge Internet phones to real phones (like
mobiles and landline phones). This way you can call any phone in the world from
your computer or let any phone in the world call you on your computer. Since Internet
is used to by-pass the traditional telcos you can make long distance calls at
close to local call rates! For
those who want the added convenience of calling without a computer, OZtell can
provide Internet Handsets that looks like a normal phone but plugs into the ADSL
connected local area network. These handsets make calls over the Internet, sharing
the ADSL connection with your computers.
2.5 Comprehensive Remote Control

OZtell can provide software and hardware so you can comprehensively
monitor and control a remote site.
Multiple video cameras (with or without
sound) can be connected to the ADSL connection. People on the Internet with the
right access permissions can then selectively monitored specific views via the
cameras.
Multiple power points can also be connected to the ADSL connection
allowing you to turn them on or off remotely. There are also ability to dim lights
and close curtains! Multiple
computers on the ADSL connection can be accessed remotely
through a web browser
as if you are sitting there in front fo them. There is no need to go back home
to get that file or that email - just access the computer and related peripherials
(like printers) - direct from work!
